The following are questions you might have and the answers to those questions: Do you have a guarantee?Yes. We have a 100% money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied. What duct cleaning method do you use?We have a large external (external to the house/business) vacuum that connects to the trunk line ductwork by your furnace. We do not use small, portable duct cleaning equipment (small, portable, duct cleaning vacuums do not clean all of the ductwork). We then use a compressed air hose and use compressed air at every vent to move dust and debris towards the main vacuum. Any remaining debris that is not vacuumed is removed with the help of a snake type hose. This snake type hose is inserted into the main trunk line, loosening any remaining debris. For more details click here. Do you cut holes in my ductwork?Yes. We cut a hole in the main trunk line to hook up the vacuum. After we are finished vacuuming out the contaminants we patch the hole with sheet metal, sheet metal screws and special foil tape. How long does it take?It depends on the home size, the number of furnaces, the style of ductwork, the material of the ductwork and the amount of debris in the ductwork. The majority of jobs take between 3-6 hours. Do I have to be home when you are cleaning the ducts?Yes and No. When we arrive we would like you to be home to let us in your house and to answer any questions we might ask. It is O.K. to leave when we are actually cleaning the duct system. Do you clean ducts in the winter?Yes. Be aware that your furnace will be turned off during the process. How often should I have my ducts cleaned? It all depends it you have allergies, a high efficiency air cleaner and the location of your home (is it next to construction, busy road, a dirt area, etc.). We recommend that most duct systems are cleaned every 1-3 years. Can you bill me for your service? In most situations the answer is no, we are a COD company. If you are a business we require payment within 30 days. Do you except credit cards?Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card. Do you sanitize the ductwork?Yes. We use an EPA approved sanitizer Do you have insurance?Yes. We are insured for up to $3,000,000. Do you have references?Yes. Please click here for refrences or contact us and we will provide additional references for you. Do you do other work besides duct cleaning?Yes, for a complete list click here. How much does it cost ?The prices for duct cleaning vary based upon the size of the home and how many systems you have. Remember, we use more powerful and better cleaning vacuums than many of our competitors. As a result, our prices can be higher than companies that use less powerful, handheld vacuums. If you compare the quality of our work to the work of “others” our prices are very competitive. So, have the job done right the first time and give us a call at 815.941.2222 for an exact quote.
